Im pumped I found this app. What an awesome idea. Such a great way to track all the whiskeys youve tried. I love the writers ratings/reviews and the users ratings/reviews too.

The reviews are so full of over-the-top hyperbole as to render them useless, except as a source of ridicule.
Obviously this is full of good ideas and has great promise. But the app itself isnt there yet. I tried to give them feedback but they have an expired Zendesk account, so its hard to tell if they actually want the feedback. Its a wrapper for their website, so it doesnt work seamlessly, lots of pages randomly reload, buttons are strangely sized and content gets lost with big text. Its all the same problems you might see on an "optimized for mobile" website. Once they have an app that was developed to run natively on iPhone, theyll have a real winner. Until then, I dont see myself using these features.
It frequently hangs (black screen) or gets stuck at the "glass with ice cubes" icon. Think this happens when network connectivity is intermittent or bad. Mobile app needs to work better than that. iOS 8.1 iPhone 6
Clean design, useful information and I can store tasting notes.
Great app. Lots of details on every kind of whiskey/Whisky you can find. Definitely would recommend this to any whiskey/Whisky drinker.
But wish it was a native app instead of a web page disguised as an app
I found the selection limited to things youd find in a pretentious Bay Area whiskey bar. Surprise, Surprise. An app by yuppies, for yuppies.
Love this app. Great for finding new treats.
Very nice app... Nicely laid out, easy navigation, and presented well. I agree I wish it wasnt web-based and the keyboard should go away when you first go on the search menu- that gets annoying....
Love, love this app!! As a newbie to the Whiskey world I love reading about whats out there to try. This gives you a "Professional" score, an avg user review score and the price range of the whiskey. Im on it daily reading about whats coming out, what I havent tried yet and adding to my "Wishlist" all the time!
Not a fan of the cheapo non-native implementation of this app. Its a shame because the content is stellar and the graphic design is one of the best Ive seen. Hope you guys do the right thing and get this redone in native code!
The keyboard issue has to be fixed. It pops up every time you go back to the search screen. This is annoying when you want to check out various spirits by the same name. It also needs to be optimized better to flow as an APP. As it is now, it functions close to a mobile website.
The keyboard issues make this app frustratingly useless. With so much useful information for the whiskey or spirits lover, thats a shame. The ease of logging on has been an issue too, not recognizing the user name or password and not being able to log on efficiently. Fix your technical issues and the site will be used quite often by this user. Otherwise its of little use.
The content in the app is good, with excellent information, reviews, and recommendations. However, the interface is awful, and broken. Nearly every form, from sign up to search, has problems. Things jump around, buttons dont act as they should, its just a poorly written app. Very disappointing, a little QA would go a long way here.
Helped me find some great whiskeys. Definitely worth a free download
Great app. Like the collection and top shelf feature. Also like the design the best. Agree it could use some upgrades/tweaks but overall the best app.
Great improvements with the latest update. Good source of info, ratings, news and advice.
Thorough reviews of both rare and common whiskey. Complete with price points, flavor graphs, and tasting notes, this app is perfect for researching and enjoying.
It loses a star for me with the idiotic "enter your birthday" deal. You cant order whiskey through the app so theres no legal reason for it to be there. Then you enter your country and the app populates with a string glowing reviews...of bottles that arent sold in the U.S. So its basically useless unless youre searching a specific brand, but then why not just use google?
